🔒 1. 100% On-Premise Data Isolation
All student records, parent contact details, academic marks, fee receipts, and staff salary statements are stored exclusively on your institution's computer inside an embedded local SQLite database. EduCore does not upload, mirror, synchronize, or transmit your educational records to any external cloud servers, analytics providers, or remote hosts.
🛡️ 2. Cryptographic Password Hashing & Per-User Salt
User passwords are never stored in plain text. EduCore utilizes industry-standard PBKDF2 (Password-Based Key Derivation Function 2) cryptographic hashing algorithms coupled with unique, randomly generated cryptographic salts per user. Authentication checks are executed strictly in memory on the local machine.
🧹 3. Ephemeral Memory Zeroization
To guard against memory scraping attacks and cold-boot inspections, sensitive credential byte-arrays and session payload keys are zeroized immediately after authentication checks and encryption handshakes conclude.
📡 4. Zero Behavioral Telemetry & Offline Operation
EduCore does not track keystrokes, screen recordings, user analytics, clicks, or operational habits. An active internet connection is only needed once for initial software license verification. During normal school operations, EduCore operates 100% offline with no network packets emitted.
💾 5. Backup Sovereignty & Retention Rotation
EduCore features an automatic daily background backup engine with a rolling 30-day retention cycle. Backups are saved directly into your specified local or removable storage drive (e.g. encrypted external USB drive). Backups are verified with SHA-256 integrity checksums prior to rotation.
📋 6. Tamper-Evident System Audit Trail
All state-altering actions (fee updates, student admissions, marksheet revisions, salary payments, user role changes) are appended to a tamper-evident internal audit log with timestamps and user identifiers. Master administrators can inspect audit trails anytime directly within the settings frame.
📤 7. Complete Data Portability & No Vendor Lock-in
We believe that your data belongs unconditionally to your school. You can export student rosters, staff ledgers, fee dues records, and examination results into standard CSV and Excel spreadsheets at any time with a single click.
